WeNeW biorefineries will initially focus on producing net-zero diesel. While our diesel will have a drop-in replacement quality, it must be distributed to a local blending facility to collect federal fuel subsidies. A farm focused on the corn-soy rotation can typically support the production of >30 time more fuel than would be used by the farm. Most agricultural communities could become net fuel exporters.
There is a lot of flexibility in how to make renewable fuels from syngas, so we can branch out sooner or later to also make sustainable aviation fuel, renewable natural gas (RNG), net-zero gasoline, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), heating oil, synthetic oils, methanol, ammonia, and more.
